A handmade item without the passion is just another HH knockoff....
And there are tons of these to compete with in the web and even more coming thru costumes right now straight from china
So it really makes no sense if you are not enjoying the ride

If you are in this for a true money making income you need to give it at least 3 years of 40-70 hour work weeks. If it's just a hobby than by all means dabble your heart out with what you love. Making it in the hair bow business is not for most people. You really have to be willing to deadicate amazing amounts of time and in the beginning, amazing amounts of money. If you aren't looking for real money than do your best to quit spending so much money on ribbon and other supplies and just create when you have time. If you are looking for real money a year is no where near long enough to give it. 3 years minimum of solid work weeks. I know it sounds like a long time but if you stick with it, put honest effort into it, it will pay out in the end.

I think everyone has had their day or days that they have or their husbands have asked that same question. It's hard because you want to be good at what you do and for people to think your items are neat and so you spend money to get the nicer stuff, but in the end if this isn't your full time job it has to be a hobby. And hobbies usally cost money. Just think about what you want :-)
