Default Feather tutu dress

Has anyone seen the feather tutu dresses? I was wanting to make one for my daughter but not sure how. It looks like maybe it is just the feather boas tied to the crochet top like what you would do with tulle any ideas? Here is a link to what I am talking about TIA

Wow! How pretty My best guess is that it might be similar to tutu dresses with crochet tops, where the boas are somehow tied through the little holes/loops on the top. I haven't done much work with feathers... thinking about trying to figure out a dress like this I can just picture myself and my entire sewing room covered in a big mess of feathers

I'd love to hear what others suggest.

That is a beautiful dress,
I would image that you would pull the feathers through the holes of the crochet top and tie them same as you would with tulle. I think she used those long feathers at the craft stores.

It looks like feather boas to me. I'd make a thin tutu dress with tulle and the tie in lengths of boas right above the tulle. That way you have an under coat and it would probably keep the boas separate too. If you wanted to go a step more, you could put some stitches from the boa to the tulle.
