That's a good idea! Thanks!

It was really pretty. It is an AR flower with some marabou and veiling.
Good luck!
It is beautiful! Thanks for sharing!

I see a brooch that is similar to the crystal on the flower.

If you wanted to hand-make the flower to get that shiny, satin finish to the fabric, I think you could make a singed flower similar to the David's Bridal flower quite easily. Cut out a template for the "petal" shape using the cardboard of an old cereal box, draw the shape on the fabric with one of those fabric marking pens that disappear after a few minutes, then cut. When I singe actual petal shapes, I prefer to use one of those fire-starter flame lighters because it gives me more control. If you use a candle, the small petal shape curls up way too fast and shrinks down in size significantly. HTH!

It's beautiful, thanks! I bought some flowers from the Dollar Tree, that is very similar to the flower, and I'm going to take them apart and reassemble them. I'm waiting on my puffs and still trying to decide which rhinestone or button I'm going to get.

All of those wedding flowers are beautiful! Question though, how do you keep the marabou from getting everywhere?! I always make a huge mess! And how do you attach to the flower?

I use the marabou feathers instead of the boa I find them easier to use and you can put a little here and there. I attach with my glue gun.

So many beautiful flowers gals!
My suggestion is, what ever you make/buy, you should make sure that the WHITE matches her wedding dress! Amazes me how many shades of white is really out there. Some are blue undertone and some are a yellow undertone.
She might care about this!
