I use to bake my bows in the oven.
I've even baked my ribbon in the microwave before I folded the bow.
Then I ruined the microwave
Now i just spray the bow with hairspray after I fold it.
That is quicker and works best for me.

The way I understand it, you would need to bake the bows before adding hot glue or plastic extras...otherwise they would melt. So I would make up the bows, bake, then glue together if you are stacking them.

Yes. I bake most of my bows so they are nice and stiff and stay perky when thrown in a diaper bag or found in the bottom of moms purse.

I've never baked my bows, aside from korker ribbon of course. I honestly never even thought of it. :P

I bake too. You need to do it before the glue!

I've never baked mine but from what I understand you use starch then bake (of course before glue or any embelishments are added) I just use unscented hairspray. Quick, easy, dries fast & holds up great. I've had customers ask how my bows stay so stiff.. & my daughters bows get tossed around like crazy & they still have their shape

So, I probably sound stupid but hairspray and baking are used to help bows hold shape? I've never done either or thought about them losing shape..
