Default Removing bottlecap liners

Hi Ladies...I just got my first delivery of finished bottle caps only they still have the liners inside them. I did search for some info on them but because they are finished, I don't think boiling or heating them would be a very good idea. Any tips on how to remove the liners would be great. I want to attach the bottlecaps to bows but I'm afraid that using E6000 will not hold with the liners still in the caps.

I make my DH do it...hahaha..no he does do it...but we actually put the caps in the freezer and then he takes a knife and pulls them out....sometimes he used the knife just to get under the cap and use needle nose pliers to pull out the liner...we get them cold to help prevent any adhesive from staying on the cap! Good luck!

I have boiled mine for a few minutes and never had any problems. I just have to make sure they dry good!
