Default Crochet Headbands?

Are crochet headbands just for babies? My youngest is 1 but does have a lot of hair. Would a crochet headband look silly on her? I ask this because the only time I have seen them worn is by bald babies so I don't know how it would look on her. She always tears out any bows I try to put in her hair anyways so I don't even know if she would wear it.

I don't think it would look bad at all. I have a one year old, now granted, she doesn't have a lot of hair, but I have seen all types of people wearing them.

My Little girl is 1.5 and she has hair but I like to put it in pigtails and put the headband on. I love the way it looks. I have actually seen little girls 3 and 4 with the crocheted headbands with bows on them. I think they look cute on all ages!!

Thanks! She will probably tear it off but I think I will try it. What size headband is best, 1.5 inches?

I like the 1 1/2 for my 3 yrd old but i like the 3 inch on my 11 month old... but the 1 1/2 looks good too... I don't think you could loose either way....

my daughter is 9 months and has a ton of hair..i put these in her hair and they look fine except i have troubles keeping it from pushing up..if that makes sense...i think they stay on bald babies better than hair thats not long enough i guess thats how i would word it..i dont know if this makes sense at all..

Yes that makes sense. I have put nylon headbands on her before. They don't look good on her anymore (my opinion) and they push up.
