Question Where do you glue clip?

I have a alligator clip question. I have always glued my clip directly in the center/middle of my hair bow. However, I seen a pic on fb of a lady that had her alligator clip positioned and glued to the left side of the bow. You could see it in her photos. I have never seen it done like that before and wondered if that was just a personal preference or do they stay better like that in the hair?

some ladies have told us that they like as much surface area as possble and the like the bent part to be towards the head so the bow lays flat. For this reason the order their clips lined upside down. I have not seen any like what you an metioning, but I imagine it may be one of the reasons listed above
