Default Tiny loopy bow?

Is this just a tiny loopy bow, sorta? I like the size but something seems missing from it, so I thought I might play a bit. I am guessing 1/8th inch and 1/4"? It says it is only an inch long, so I can't see the ribbon being much wider? And I wonder, could I do something like this on a velcro "barrette" of sorts for baby hair instead of a clip, do you think?

yes, tiny loopy bow - I would think it's 1/4 for the small and 3/8 for the center loops, she's using the white plastic barrettes with teeth that you can get at hairparts.

Well, I knew something about them was striking me as odd, but I could not figure out why. Maybe the fact she purchased them is what it was! Ugh!!

Wonder if I could put them on the snap clips if I make some smaller ones? Do they hold in a baby's hair better than alligator? I keep thinking the alligator clips would pull hair on a little one? (I know, totally clueless about girls!! Panic is setting in!!!!)

I make the loopy bows using 1/4" ribbon and they turn out so cute. I like them better than the ones using 3/8" ribbon. I just put them on the alli clips. You could use a no slip grip on them to keep them in, or even attach them to a headband.

I love the smaller ribbon things on the babies! LOL So I will for sure try the 1/4" ribbon.

Well it doesn't really have to be that she purchased them, she could have made them. I'd think the clip choice depends on how much hair and how thin the hair is. I used fully lined alli clips on my daughter and for the first few months I didn't attach anything to her hair just to headbands. I never tried the snap clips.

Congrats by the way, I remember the excitement of expecting a girl.
