Default Still confused....

Ok. I admit it, I'm still confused. I do not know the difference between a "classic" boutique and a "twisted" boutique. I'm a visual learner, so can someone pretty please post a picture of the two types??

I'm confused, too! Here's what I've found:

Girly Things calls this a Basic Boutique bow:
http://girlythingsbows.com/boutique_bow.html

Ribbon Retreat and skylerzmom call this a Twisted Boutique bow:
http://www.theribbonretreat.com/blog...tique-bow.html
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UcbOFRvZin4

Hair-Hardware calls this a Boutique Style bow:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkQVj...eature=related

mommycraftsalot calls this a Classic Boutique bow, but the title over the video also calls it a Twisted Boutique:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GyMRR...eature=related

They all look the same to me!

someone correct me if I'm wrong but a boutique and twisted boutique are the same except that the the boutique the top of the bow is the side where the ribbon runs parallel and the twisted boutique the top is the side where the ribbon crosses in the center.

In the picture posted above:

Basic Bow = Classic Bow = Boutique Bow
Twisted Boutique Bow = Twisted Boutique Bow

A Boutique Bow is NOT a Twisted Boutique Bow (which is a boutique bow where the loops have been "twisted" if you want an easy way to remember it), although some people do use the terms interchangeably. No wonder people get confused.

Thanks, BlessedMom, Krysia, and tif_ki, for your help!

One question, though, is the Basic Bow as shown in NBNG's chart always made with 4 loops, or can it be done with 2?
