Default Feather trimmed tutu

Im trying to figure out the best way to attach a feather boa to the bottom of a tutu. Any suggestions??

I have attached boas to many costumes (not that I LIKE to do it) and have always used my machine with a BIG zig zag stitch. It isn't easy by any means, but I I avoid sewing by HAND (which btw is a four letter word in my sewing room) as much as possible LOL.

I would hold all the feathers out of the way so I could sew over the center string they are attached too then after FLUFF them out again.
