Default 12 month size question? (tutu dress)

Hey there,

Was hoping someone could help? I am making a tutu dress with crochet top for a 12 month old. (she wants 12-18 size) Do you normally sew your two crochet tops together for that size, or just use one? I don't have anyone that age to try it on first lol.

I would assume most people use one bigger sized crochet top like the 3inch ones HTH!

I generally use the one large size crochet top for the smaller ones (mine are 5 inches long) but when making bigger size dresses, I cut the crochet top and sew two together then sew again to make it longer to fit around (if that makes sense). I'm just trying to figure out if I need to for a 12 month old. I'm thinking not..

I wouldn't think so either for that size of child. My dd is almost 7 months and she still has plenty of room in just one band
