Default I am new and curious

I hope I wont become a total pain beacuse I will be asking for a ton of feedback!! I recentley started bow making. Its a great hobby that I really hope to excel at. I have make some really great products over the last few weeks yet it has been trai and error with a lot of scrap ribbons (did everyone have that problem when they first started?). Anyway, i am wondering what length ribbon do you cut for a large bow? medium? small or is it just preference? I tend to get alittle discouraged because there are a lot of bow makers in my area. How do you ladies market your bows?

Thank you all in advance and I am very happy to have found this site!!
