Default Velcro for bows and flowers

When my daughter was a baby she had bows that had velcro on them instead of a clip. I do not have the bows any more and was wondering if any of you use the velcro on items for babies with fine hair? If so where do you get your velcro? and what kind do you use?

Thank you!

I have seen those types of clips for babies before but I don't make them myself. I do use velcro though for my no slip grips on clippies (the soft part) and I use the grip part for my hard headbands. I buy them in big 25 yard spools in white and black. The back is adhesive so it makes it very easy to use. I get mine from Textol.

Does the velcro you use stick to itself? The velcro I am looking for should.

Thanks so much! I googled my brains out all last night literally...running on an hour of sleep and never found anything. Apparently the lack of sleep messed with my googling abilities! lol

I use both hook and loop but separately. They do stick together.

Could you explain this a little better? Sorry I'm running off an hour of sleep.

I do velcro bows for babies. I just take 2.5 inches of ribbon, fold in the middle put the hook part of the velcro on one side, the loop velcro on the other, stitch in place ( I worry after use that glue might lift) then attach bow, flower, or embellishment to the top of the ribbon (so basically the ribbon is the clip if that makes sense.

Thanks so much! The sad thing is I don't own a sewing machine...oops. I have realized after lots of research that in order to expand from flowers and bows that I am going to need one. Honey...I need a sewing machine! Hopefully he heard me! LOL
