Default iron on's out of cut fabric

Does anyone know how to make iron on's out of cut fabric? How do you get the fabric to adhere to the surface you are using. Is there something out there that you use to get it to adhere to the surface such as material?

Use fusible webbing - from JoAnn or fabric stores. It comes with instruction. Cut out your fabric, stick it on the webbing sheet, iron, trim of excess, peel off back side, iron on to your shirt/bag or whatever - done.

What noisycrickets said, except I like to iron on the fusible webbing, then cut out, so there is no webbing sticking out around the edges.

you can also use stitchwitchery. it is like tape but fusible web. i recommend sewing after the applique is ironed.

anyone agree, disagree?

Aha! clear thread now I know.

And yes the webbing stuff does work - at least on sweatshirts. I made a few sweatshirts 2-3 years ago - still wearable.
