I bake 120 celsius low oven for 25min in cold oven or 20min in a warm oven. I spray with iron spray starch. I find it helps to bake your sticks before you put ribbon on them helps to seal the wood. As I had a few that stain my white ribbon. Only when the wood was new.

Try spraying the korkers before you bake them, that helps to hold their shape.

I spray mine w starch before I bake and I bake em at 270 for about 25 mins and after I make the bow i spray em with stiffen stuff and they hold very well.
