Default How to make this extremely easy looking bow... ?

Hi everyone, I have been searching the internet for easy tutorials to make just a simple, quite poofy, bow (I attached the image)
You see, these video/word instructions are so difficult for me to comprehend. I have to have everything so specific and it won't turn out. Crafts aren't my friend, even though I am a great artist but well, holding a pen and paintbrush is much different than doing twists and turns and the like. It took me awhile to tie my own shoelaces, and to this day I still can't get them tight enough to stay...
So, please, anyone, tell me how to make this really easy looking bow. I have french barrette clip to put it on, but I need to make the bow first!
I don't want a pinwheel, boutique fancy bow... just this simple looking bow.

Figure out how big you want your bow and double it. Decide how long you want your tails, double that then add it to the bow measurement. Add 1/2 inch for shrinkage. I'd use 2-3 inch ribbon, but depends on the look you're going for. Take your length of ribbon and fold it in half. Take one side and fold over the tail at a 45 degree angle to make the loop for one side, and do the same with the other side. Now in the middle, you should have a triangle. I use a Sally's clip to hold the center and tie it off. Take a thinner ribbon, cut 4-5 inches and tie in a knot. Glue it to the center of the bow. Take the tails and cut them however you want them and seal the ends. glue your bow to your clip or barrette and you're set
