Default Small Snap Clips / Clips for fine hair

I make all my hair accessories with partially lined alligator clips and no-slip grip.
I have a customer from out of the area, who wants to order some items, but prefers snap clips for her granddaughters fine hair (she's under a year old and doesn't have a whole lot of hair).

Any advice on where to order? Are there any tricks or certain types that stay better in fine hair?
How do they compare to alligator clips?
What's the best way to secure korkers to them?
Do you lined them with ribbon? What size?

Basically, tell me what I should do here and give me some ideas! LOL

I told her I don't normally use those clips, but I can order some if that's what she's interested in.

Typically, under 1 y.o, it'll be the 30mm snap clip.

Michelle (this Forum Owner) carries it and I only buy from her because of the sizing

Lining: Yes, with ribbon. You'll be using 3/8.

Attaching korkers: I'd say just glue it.

Nope, no tricks. Lined snap clips stay put in fine hair. The hardware link above shows picture of it. You could also, instead of grosgrain, use Velvet ribbon to line. Ribbon size: same, 3/8.

i've had a problem lining the tiny snap clips - it seems the "snap" goes out of them! maybe i'm using too much glue?

i've reverted to either using snap clip covers (so there's no glue on the s/clip) - or ribbon wrapping them.

i'd really like to go back to lining them w/ribbon = so much faster. when you glue on the bow/korker - do you avoid the middle part where the snap clip bottom pokes thru?

thanks for any help you can offer . . .

You know, back when my sister was born (its been a few years, it was 1983 LOL) it was hard to find anything for little whispy baby fine hair. (Mom never had to deal with that before, I was born with a ton of thick hair!)

She hated people calling my sister a boy, so she actually used VELCRO!! She would make the bows (small ones worked great, I dont know how it would do with big bows) and sew them to the Velcro. Then she could use that to hold the bows in her hair, and it did not show, and they held AMAZINGLY well!! (Worked so well mom was sad when her hair was too thick for the Velcro!)

Just an idea in a pinch. I know you cannot do that for sales like this but might be something to play with.
