I might be completely wrong but did she just cut FOE down the middle of half (or 3/4) of the band and attatch a flower? I've never worked with FOE so I might be wrong. HTH

Thanks for the better picture! No I dont think it is foe..I think it is velvet elastic...but I am not sure how to get it to look like 2 headbands! I ♥ this and want to make it for myself for my husbands work christmas party! Stunning and simple!

Thanks! I think I got it! I did not look at the second picture! I think it is foe. I think she prbably cut 2 pieces of velvet elastic for the top. sewed the fow to the velvet elastic, but a flower over the one end where it was sewn...and not sure about the otherside...lol..I will have to figure that out!

It says on the description that it's elasticized velvet. My guess is that she took two strips and placed them at angles where she joined them with the underside piece. Then, placed the flower over one of the seams.

I agree, wondering tho what she did for the otherside? the flower would cover up one side but not the other..and it would look funny with 1 flower on both sides..lol....

Looks like a FOE headband and it has been split just at the front section and elastic velvet put on the front. Not sure how the other side would look but maybe it sits under the hair so you couldn't notice?
