thanks so much for taking the time to answer/help!

edit - i ended up readjusting the ribbon so the tails were even . . . and put a mark on the template indicating the middle and that's where i think i'll line up the center of the ribbon.

edit edit . . . oops - i'm using 5/8" ribbon in the pic

For me it depends on what im using the bow for. Sometimes i will turn the tails and and glue them down on printed ribbon so i can see the print.

After I played with and made some printed ribbon, I treated it just like regular ribbon. Any slight imperfections on the ribbon (it was my first try after all!! LOL) I hide in the center.

Yes, that is the way I do mine. If I'm using printed ribbon like you are using in the pic, I just cut my tails shorter so that the white/blank side doesn't show.HTH!

thanks so much for all the answers & tips.

so, if i want a classic bow using printed ribbon, i either have to eliminate the tails or twist them.

i'm kinda disappointed that these templates aren't printed ribbon friendly, but if that's what i gotta do, then that's what i'll do.

thanks, again.

I have both the old set and the new one and anytime I use printed ribbon I just put the print facing down on the template and as u wrap it the print is what shows not the white/ blank side. Hth .
