Default feather headbands?

Hi Ladies,
I bought these gorgeous feathers but want to know what kind of headband should I glue them to? and does hot glue work the best?

Thanks

metal, satin lined & as for glue e6000 it holds better than hot glue.

Thanks for the advice.
I have seen feathers glued to elastic headbands as well.

I agree with mommyto_ydj--use E6000, not hot glue. I've found that the hot glue gets too goopy and ruins the feathers. Also, what's nice about the E6000 is that you have some time to fiddle with the exact placement and get the feather exactly where you want it. Generally, I just apply it to the stalk in the center of the feather to ensure none of the glue shows through on the main part of the feather. And to secure the feather further, I use a felt circle on the back of the headband so that the feather is sandwiched between the circle and the headband.

I might always be the only vote against e6000
I only use hot glue (at it's hottest) and have never had a problem with it not permanently sticking to elastic, plastic, or metal.

thread for embellishments and hot glue also. E6000 takes too long. If i had to wait for things to set i'd never get thru my orders!
