Default How does she do this?

I'm trying to make my niece one of these initial necklaces, but I can't figure out how she does the initial, anybody have any idea?

Also, does anyone know where to get the packaging she uses? Not the paper cupcake holder but the thing underneath?

Her site says-

Necklace is comprised of a wood scrabble tile (.75" x .75") that has been decoupaged with fun papers and your child's initial, and then sealed for durability. It's topped off with a sparkly Swarovski crystal that's been sealed. Three ribbons, hanging from a sterling silver ring, can be worn as a choker or in the traditional fashion. You can also replace the ribbons with a standard chain.

I like them!

I think she used some kind of die cut machine for the initial. Possibly a Cricut, Cuttlebug, or Quickutz.

Hope that helps.

You pretty much make them the same way you make bottle caps.

I think that I looked embossed maybe? The A almost looked like a sticker. Stickers would work though!

They're probably not blank. They decoupage over them. You can buy sets of scrabble tiles on ebay.
