For some reason, I can't visualize what they will look like being worn. And I would imagine darker ribbons, won't show up well on dark hair.... Perhaps I am over thinking this, LOL! Does someone have an example of it being worn? If not, maybe I can make one up and try it out on my daughter this weekend.

These don't seem like they will be stable when worn. I'm going to try it because they are super cute. Any ideas for the best way to attach them to a clip?

It is actually sturdier than I thought. It's not super heavy, so it doesn't slide out of my DD's hair. I glued a button to the back and then glued an alligator clip to it.
I made one using the blog directions from this thread and posted a picture in the hairbow gallery. But here it is. ..

Do all of you who make them glue the back to a button. I wondered if a felt circle would work like for the loopy bows. I haven't made one yet but plan to try later today. I will post picture if it is worthy!!!

OK I made one. I cut my ribbon 2 3 and 4 inches. Please tell what you think about it. I think the one the OP posted in all pink is much prettier.

Raelin06 that looks awesome! I really like the colors you used.

Marcoot, did you decide to use the felt or the button for the back?

Millers I used the button and it worked out ok. I am going to put felt on the next one and see how it works. I read on another post to use heavier felt for the circle, not the cheap blocks you buy at craft stores, so will get some tomorrow at Hobby Lobby.

I make the 11 petal ones (I don't sew each petal individually) & use a wool blend felt circle and it works great. Now I have to try the 5 petal version. Thanks!!

I love these. I made some for Easter and my girls have probably worn them more than anything else I've made.
