Default Opinion on two different styles of Twisted?

So, tonight I was making a base bow with the figure 8 method. And, I didn't narrow up the x as much. I think I actually like the way it looks better than the way I normally make twisteds (also figure 8). Please tell me which one you like best. And, do you think the new one is still a twisted? Thanks!!!

The blue is the new way - sorry it is unfinished.
The zebra is the old way.

I can't do twisteds for the life of me, so take this with a grain of salt. While both are well done, I prefer the zebra one. I like the top loops of the blue one, but there's something a little off for me about the bottom loops. JMHO.

Thank you!! Your opinion is valued!! Here is another pic after I moved it around a little more.

ETA: Now, I think I have the top further apart...lol.

I like both. I think the zebra is more of a twisted, you know?!? But, the blue one was easier to arrange and, to me, kind-of seems more symmetrical. I dunno....lol....I think I may be nuts...lol.

I like the zebra one but I also think you have the blue one with the wrong side facing up?? I could be wrong but it just looks as though it would sit better if it were flipped over..

I like the zebra but I think as a base bow that the blue would be better. I usually make my base bows a little looser when I put a twisted on the bottom. Easier to attach a clip.

It is right - the X is up on the blue one. But, I actually made it to be a base so I would flip it over to make the stacked bow.
