Sneek Peek of Karsyn's (my DD) Bday Party Hat!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I just decided to sit down and start Karsyn's Party hat for her Birthday. For the most part it is done but the final touch will be a super full Korker poof on top!
 What do you think so far? Any suggestions or changes for me?    Thanks so much for letting me share! Jeana

Thank you all so much! I had so much fun making this and choosing the ice cream theme! I agree not to let her eat in it! LOL! I was thinking of seeing if I could get someone to custom make a bib to match the theme. I so wish I was a more expierenced sewer or could think of a simple way to make on myself. Any ideas or suggestions for me there? LOL!

Wow! That is too cute. My dd had one of those for her 1st birthday, but I am here to tell you it was not that cute! I have been wanting to make some of those to monogram. Did you make the hat form?

I use a regular old Birthday hat and cover it in fun foam of my disired color. I have one hat that I took apart as a pattern to trace the foam so that it is precise and just hot glue it on all around. Then just use whatever decorations you can think of! The sky is the limit! I have been making these for about a year now and tried a lot of different techniques. This is the one that is working the best for me! The foam gives a nice sturdiness to the hat. Jeana
