Default my grosgrain elastic headband

What do you think? I used 25 inches + 25 inches of 1.5" GG. Next time i will use 30 inches. I stiched the wrong sides together and used a dowel and bring the right side out. I inserted a 1" elastic and stitched the ends together. My little one did not take them out for the whole day, now i am not able to find them, lol.

I am afraid to pink the edges becos of fraying but i think ironing may make them more flat. Did not try that yet!
BTW i bought some crochet headbands from creativekiddos.com and i loved them.

Another cute idea may be to just attach the elastic to the bottom of the ribbon, so that it would be hidden by hair and use just one length of ribbon to go across the top of the head--make sense?

i know what you mean olivia-mom.. i saw one in ebay with the elastic only on the back, connects the two end of the ribbon. But i really liked this ebayer:

Pink Brown Grosgrain interchangeable Headband Hair bow - eBay (item 120166802358 end time Mar-26-08 15:12:00 PDT)

but i want to hide the stitching..
Thank you guys, BTW this is my son(he looks more girly, i dont know why, lol) My daughter is more like my DH.
