My first Woven Headband

This is my very first woven headband... please tell me what you think. IT took about 15min to do but its not perfect. I am sure practice makes perfect. Ifyou see something I could do better please advise.

the weave should be the same on the inside of the headband. other than that i think it looks okay.

I thought so! The tut I used (free online) had the inside looking this way.

I am sure I could make the pattern be inside as well.

there is a youtube video with the weave on the inside and outside. its very similar - just takes a little getting used to.

did you use clips every inch or 2? that will keep your weave tight, and consistent. the ribbon won't shift, but stay in place as you go.

love it though! they are so addictive. talk to me 144 headbands later!!

I used clips but would get ahead and have to back up and pull tight. I know this one is not tight enough just gotta practice.

I use double side tape on the inside to keep my ribbon in place, instead of clips.

I think it's a great 1st headband! I've been dying to try, but I just haven't gotten the motivation to do it yet.

my first headband came out that way too. someone pointed it out to me and the next one i made it came out right. the hair hardware u tube video is really good. i sat there and did it with her. Your weave look great!!! they are lots of fun to do.
