Not silly. DD stand for "Darling/Dear Daughter". I never noticed if people here use the abbreviations (DS=Darling son, DH=Darling Husband), I'll pay more attention. But on other message boards I visit everyone does. So it's habit Sorry, I'll try not to use so many abbreviations here.

lol I always wanted to ask that too...but thought I would look dumb..glad to know I'm not the only one who didn't know!!
