Being nosey... I read somewhere that your bows smell great
Do you spray something on them? Like the floral spray? Just curious.

I LOVE your bows!

Thank you so much, ladies.
@kittycow2: I think I posted about it here How do you make a bow pop?
If this is what you meant.
@Amber427: I used spray starch. I luckily got a very nice one here. But hearing lately all about disavantages of spray starch, I think I'll have to switch to stiffener. Well so far if you don't use cheap, no name ribbon I don't thing there is a risk of colour running...

Lynn,
Those are gorgeous. You always do such beautiful work. I haven't attempted any layered bows yet. Hopefully in the very near future I will do so. You are an inspiration.

I had a question that I wanted to ask. What do you use to hold your bow together. I looked at the link on making bows pop and couldn't tell if it was thread or something else.

okay two questions- do you sew or tie?

thank you. I used elastic thread as Michelle suggested. I just love it! Because it's elastic it will hold VERY tight yet very flexible to fix.

I use hot glue (just tiny bit) to stick all the layers together, then use elastic thread (again) to tie them together once more for a secure fixing. I sew them together sometimes (in case of elastic thread running out ) but if I sew there was no need of hot glue.
HTH,
Lynn

So do you just hold it together with a clip then wrap and tie off with elastic?

Lynn, ... just, ... wow!!! You really do make such beautiful bows! I would be hard-pressed to choose a favorite from that list - they're all great!

No, I never use a clip. I used the clip in the photo in that post 'how to make your bow pop' just in order to take photo. I use left hand to hold it and crease that center (by hand, too) still use that left hand to hold it and tie off with elastic by the other hand. I feel holding it by hand more secure.
