Cute! I love it, I would love to see the instruction too.

I actually used to make roses out of paper during my high school days too. But soooooo many years have passed since high school and I can't remember how to make them anymore.

yes, jene_b that is how to do that paper rose! It works pretty well on ribbon too, eh?

I took all the pics to post a "how-to" on here while my girls were running around the house like maniacs and then my headache turned into a very intense migraine where I was naseated and everything.... I was *SO* sick that I didn't make hair bows last night Now... THAT is sick!!

hello,
I love the ribbon roses! I have not made one yet, but I have bookmarked a website that shows a method for making a rose out of paper that I think would work great with ribbon, it is different from the one in this thread. I have tried it with paper and it looks good, so I don't see why it wouldn't work with ribbon. I don't use the "tool" that they use, I just hold it with my fingers Here is the link

Folded Roses

Hello, I tried to the ribbon rose with the link (folded ribbon roses that they used the tool with). I tried holding it with my fingers and it kept wanting to slip out of place especially the center, do you sew or glue each petal together or what? Any help would be appreciated. Thanx
