My first bows, pictures are not great....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   I made these for my dd for school this week to wear with some shirts she has. Not sure if you can see it in the bottom of the witches hat is some boa feather, like witches hair. Having some fun with this....

I found the skulls at JoAnns in the button section, took a while to find just the right skulls to match her shirt (it has a skeleton on it) they are Favorite Findings brand.
The hat is a paper thin plastic thing I found at Hobby Lobby in the Halloween craft section at the front of the store and I just cut the back off it some and glued it with E6000, hope it holds, and the spider/web is another button from my scrapbook stash, I have lots of buttons from that. Just a little background.... I live in NE Indiana and hairbows are not a thing here at all, but I have always put something in my dd hair, as it is now down to her waist and I don't like it in her face. Well a while back I needed some new ones for her and posted on our local FreeCycle board if anyone had any free instructions or knew of anyone/place in town selling the big bows, well my DIL belongs on the same list and sent me a private email, laughing, saying well Mom, they did go out in the 80's, that's why you can't find any....so that is how I got started and I'm having soooo much fun doing these. I'm afraid she will have matching bows for all her clothes now.
