Halloween bows by me

Ok I will try this again. I made some Halloween hair bows for my husband's boss. He has 2 daughters and wanted them made for them. I am charging $5 a bow for these, but I'm not sure if I'm charging too much or not enough. I need your opinions please. I am open to all positive criticism. Thank you.


The first and third bows were my second try. The middle bow was my first try. Let me know which style you like better!

Most of the bows I have seen for sale are about an average of $5.00. You could probably just search online and see what the types of bows similar to yours are selling for, kind of average it out if the prices have a broader range. I just started making bows so I am not an expert. This is just my 2cents. Also make sure you are making a profit. They are cute~

The spikes look a little long and I think the surrounds should be hugging the inner bow more. Also it looks like the spikes are the bottom layer and usually they are put between the base bow and the center bow. So the layers would be:

1. Base Bow
2. Spikes
3. Surrounds
4. center bow

Thanks so much. I thought it looked a bit different than those I have seen...but I thought it was just because I'm a beginner. I used the instructions at Free Instructions: Loopy Surround-a-Bow Surrounds Surround. I thought I was doing it right when I was reading the instructions....but I just re-read them, and now I see what I did. Not really "wrong", just put the spikes in a different place...but now I'll know for next time . Thanks so much for the input. Any little bit helps .
