These are really stinking cute...but can you really copyright a design.... for a hair bow/clip ?

she's copying something from a book. she doesn't have a copyright for it.

No, you can't. She could possibly patent it, but she didn't (and probably wouldn't get it accepted if she tried). Here's an interesting thread for you to read....

I have read that thread- and it helped me quite a bit- I did not think it was possible- I guess people do that so no one will make them. seems crazy cuz everyone tries to make all the cute bows...lol- I just made one for Chloe...hehe

I would love to know what book that is from! I would totally send her a link to the book in an etsy convo and ask her if she is the author. Even then, only the book and it's pictures, text, etc is copyrighted. The designs inside are NOT.

Its from The Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle it is one of Chloes favorites...
