My 1st Tutu

Okay, so I wanted to make my niece a tutu for her 1st bday in October. It's going to be a butterfly theme, pink / purple. So, last night I made this tutu, only to find out today that the pink is actually baby pink...oh well, I'll just do another one. Anyway, what to you think? Be BRUTALLY honest. It's not completely finished yet, I need to even up the ends and add some ribbon and I thought I'd put some little butterflies around the bottom. I'm also making her some wings, cause what's a butterfly w/out wings??? I'll post the whole outfit later, but PLEASE comment on the tutu...there will be a LOT of people there and I really want it to stand out.

Very cute. I love the colors. Make sure you are making the tulle as tight as you can around the base so the elastic will not show when it is one her. I just stretch it as I am making it so I can see if I still need to add tulle. When done, no white spaces should show, even when stretched.
