safety!

Today was my turn to take my little baby to Gymboree for a fitting. I was very excited to be in the Gymboree Corporation. The outfits they tried on my little one were so cute. Sorry I can't not say more about them. One of the designers started a conversation with me and we ending taking about bows. He told me that by law and for safety reasons they don't make bows bigger than 3 inches. I told him I was part of this group, and he told me tell that to other moms who make bows. So, I just want to let you know.

I don't understand what the issue is with bigger then 3 inches. That doesn't make sense, whats the safety issue?

Sorry to be so abrupt here but..

One - for safety - I do not know there policies - they may figure over 3 inches hurts the heads or something but whatever that is a safety issue they have.

NOW a by law issue.....Oh my gosh - now this sounds like the guy was spitting the lingo! There is no friggin law that states a bow for gymboree has to be under 3 inches. He is confusing their policy with the law - that would be one darn funny law to pass!

It seems like to me the bigger the bow the less of a safety issue it would be. Just my thoughts, I would love to know why he said that, I'll be listening!

He told me with kids you have to be very careful. They can be wearing a big bow and the loops could get caught on something and pull out the girls hair or worse. That's why Gymboree doesn't make bows bigger the 3 inches.

My opinion

the guy is a dufus!

I get that they may have gone through test but....... law! lol - ...... and it may get caught on something .....so might a little bow .. then the clip slips out it will not strangle you......again - I just think he's a dufus.

I don't think you are attacking me! maybe he was talking about their law. Gymboree law. I don't know. If my little one has another fitting next week and if he is there I will ask more, because now I have a doubt what law is his talking about.
