Gymbo IS cute. But it's not the only cute kids clothing out there. I went to a sidewalk sale recently of theirs, and found some ADORABLE ladybug themed outfits... but they were still too much for me, even on sale. I make a lot of my daughter's clothing, and she always matches and looks her age... which is 2. I have put a more "grown-y" looking top on her, but it was a tshirt style top with a belt and was in a mod style print. Not trashy. But anyways. I just shop where it's cheap. My nanny has found stuff at Gymbo for dirt cheap, but I lack the "shop at good stores and get it uber cheap" gene, I think.

Hey ladies,I don't care for Gymboree either.I think they are to expensive and I don't like the way they wash up either. After a couple of washings they looked very worn and I try to take very good care of my girls clothing.
In defense to the ones how do like Gymdoree, I do think they have really cute clothes. My friend buys their clothing for her daughter and she loves them. I personally dont see giving $40.00 for a pair of pants that may be worn 5 times.I have 2 girls and its hard for my hub. and I to afford it. I shopped there a few times and dropped a few hundred dollars for a few outfits (talking about sick).

I've just recently joined the other addicted moms!
I bought almost every single piece of the My Little Panda line on eBay as resell, all NTW and guess how much my total was? Around 80 dollars including shipping and fees!! It is around 1000 in clothes! I had always been turned off from Gymbo because of the extremely high prices (who pays 40.00 for a plain infant dress?). It seemed like it wouldn't be as cute unless you could afford all the pieces and I'm no millionaire. When I found all the My Little Panda pieces on eBay I fell in love. Then while at the mall I dropped in and dug through their 2 small tightly packed clearance bars. It took around 45 minutes of irritating digging but I managed to find the peter pan collar onesie from the Pretty Poodle line for 1.99, matching 2 pack socks for 1.99, and matching ruffle bottom pants for 2.99! I then found the striped onesie, dress, and 2 pk sock from the Little Field Mouse line for around the same. That equals out cheaper than Walmart clothing for a complete outfit by Gymbo. Since the find out those outfits I've bought almost all the pieces from Pretty Poodle on eBay NTW and have only spent 40 including shipping. I plan to hunt down the rest of the line for Little Field Mouse next! You can also find a lot of M2M gymbo designer ribbon and make gorgeous bows. Resell on a full collection of gymbo like I've collected is KILLER also so if my baby pops out a boy I'm still good! LOL |
