Found a vendor for canvas shoes

Hey Guys! I have been talking to a company overseas that is willing to produce mary jane canvas shoes for us. The MOQ is 4000 pairs total and the each price is $1.30. I have attached a picture. I just sent her an email asking what the approximate shipping charges would be, and if they could produce them in sizes 0-11 toddler. What do you think?

I'm definately interested in getting in on this buy. Can we get any other styles? Pls keep us posted on the shipping cost and shipping timeframe. I'm sure we'd like to get them in for our spring lines.

Just curious if you can provide us with a little info about yourself?? You are new here, only 14 posts, asking about doing a group buy overseas with a 4000 minimum??? There have been several group buys that have gone wrong, and I think it is only fair that you give us a little info on YOU! After all, group buys to China involving shoes.... Glenna??? Just sayin..... Ladies PLEASE get lots of info before jumping into anything!! Remember overseas you buy at your own risk!!

Hey girls, no offense taken, I completely understand. I am not sure what information you would like, but I will do my best. And you guys feel free to ask anything else you would like to know. I have two children (a girl-4 and a boy-2), and I found out last week that I am about 8 weeks pregnant. We are a Christian family, and I run my business by the same principles that I try to live by.

I manufacture bows and accessories for boutiques. We are working on a website, mainly for our wholesale customers to keep up with our new items. I got into the bow industry when I owned a boutique called Little Angels in Amarillo, Texas. I realized that the profit margin is WAY better on the manufacturing side. Also, our second baby was a big surprise, and I was not even going to attempt to run a boutique by myself with a newborn and two year old. So we closed the shop and I started selling on ebay, pretty soon after that I got my first and biggest wholesale account (Once Upon A Child), then another, etc. We are still a small operation but we are growing at a steady pace.

When I hear back from this manufacturer, I will let you know. I also want you to know that I never do business with an overseas manufacturer without American trade references.
