~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hi, ladies! Is anyone interested in a group buy for covered buttons? I am hoping to buy from Maxant Button & Supply. This will be MY first time buying from them. However, other buys on this forum have been from this source. Here's what I'm thinking...
--I would like everyone to purchase in whole gross (144). You could always split them with a partner after you get them. (I really don't have the extra time right now to be counting out buttons.)
--There are minimums, so at this point I am trying to limit the amount of choices--that way the order can be placed more quickly, and hopefully without having to do drops. I believe that the following are the most popular sizes, so I'll start with these. (If you REALLY want another size, let me know.) These are the prices that I was quoted.
-Size 36 $19.40/gross with 5 gross minimum
(push tools $1.31)
-Size 45 $22.93/gross with 3 gross minimum (push tools $1.40)
-Size 60 $26.45/gross with 2 gross minimum (push tools $1.52)
--My goal (fingers crossed) would be to place the order Monday the 27th, so please check your finances before ordering. I will plan to close the buy on Saturday the 25th and invoice as soon as I can. If we can meet the minimums earlier, I would be open to ending the buy sooner as well.
--I will accept paypal or RME. (Paypal fees will be added to your total, if that is your choice.)
--You will be responsible to your portion of shipping to me. I do not know what this will be yet. (For example, let's say the company charges the entire order 14%. Then you will pay 14% times the amount of your personal order.)
--You will also need to pay actual shipping costs from me to you. I will try to do this as cheaply as possible. I have no idea how heavy these will be, but I would love to use the Priority Ty-Vek envelopes. Note that if I have to purchase a non-Priority box/padded envelop to send your order that will be included in the fees. (If anyone has insight on shipping from prior orders, please let me know.)
--Invoice #1 will be the price of your items and paypal fees for that invoice. Due before I order.
--Invoice #2 will be your portion of shipping to me, shipping from me to you, and paypal fees for that invoice. Due after I receive the items, but before I send the order to you.
--I am NOT charging any extra fees as long as I don't have to do any splitting of grosses.
--Group buys are a lot of work for the organizer. Please remember that I am not making a profit on this transaction, and I am actually doing you a favor so please be gracious. In return, I promise to do my best with this buy and keep you updated as I know information. Let's all practice the golden rule.
--Kim
P.S. If you don't know me, you check out my ebay feedback...vinced500, or ask one of the ladies that participated in my Accessories Palace group buy a month or so ago.
ANY INSIGHT FROM FROM MAXANT CUSTOMERS WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!!!
