Alright so I might just be totally crazy but I want to verify the shipping. So if we are over 50KG which is a little over 100 pounds then we pay $9 and some change per KG? Isnt that expensive or am I reading this wrong. Also can someone direct me to the website please?

Exactly...that is huge and not worth it in my opinion, however if it is $9 then that would be great! I also just did an order through UB and it was 45lbs and was like $26...and that is just from California to Missouri!

The first post says "over 50 KG, $9.22/KG" which means $9.22 PER KG. So yes, shipping is over $400 if the order is over 50 KG. Considering it would be a large box all the way from China, not too bad, relatively speaking. But you'll be paying as much for shipping as for the ribbon if not more. Just keep that in mind.

I personally think the shipping makes it too expensive for solid grosgrain (there are almost as cheap or cheaper sources within the US once you add in the cost of shipping from China) but it may be worth it for some of the prints since they have such a nice variety. JMHO. You may also recognize some of the same prints in Hip Girl's store if you only want a little bit.

what about tax? if you purchase so much and its coming from china you would be considered a wholesaler and you have to pay tax right? i imagine that could get quite pricey.

If no is interested......no big deal, I was thinking of it like this though:

Say 15 people were in on this buy....and our package weighed
10kg=22 pounds...It would cost $129 for shipping.....BUT devided up by 15 people it would only cost each of us $8.60 a piece....which i don't think is too bad...considering the other prices. I would receive it in 3-4 days...they are shipping using DHL.
