Hm, doesn't sound too bad that way lol - question though: what about customs? Once you get a box THAT big from China and it's addressed to a business, they can't really declare it as a "gift" or "free sample"

How high are customs charges? I never had to deal with it, so I'm oblivious when it comes to that

Thats what i was getting at. I know someone else ordered from china and there are tax and and customs charges. and you figure by the time you pay $8 or more shipping then you turn around and pay shipping to yourself plus paypal fees.

Im sorry guys....I thought it was a good deal, ecspecially if i would be receiving it in only 3-4 days. Obviously alot of you are "passing" on it....I emailed Doris back about the "customs" charging...we will have to wait and see what he says tonight.....

I definitely appreciate you bringing the idea to the group. But even with your example of 22 lbs that still isnt that much ribbon because it is so heavy. I think we would definitely reach the 50 kg easily.

Thats what i was trying to say....
YOu have to think, the more people that get in on the buy the more the shipping is going to be devided up....so it could very well be even cheaper if alot of people get in on it......and we wouldnt have to wait weeks for it!

I will have to wait for his reply to see what the other charges are....that way we can calculate the shipping better....if it is more expensive, then no big deal, we wont do the GB!

I agree, I personally do not want to be hit with any extra charges and we still don't know the quality of the ribbon either..do we? Is there anyone here that can speak to this? I mean if it is UB quality we might as well order from UB...KWIM? Its all about people wanting to make an informed decision. Some people jump into purchases blindly and some choose to have more information...its all about people's purchasing behavior and should not be referred to as "spazzing out"
