Flip Flop update

The good news is that the UPS man delivered the flip flops this evening, the bad news is that my shipment was completely wrong! The packing slip was right, but the flops weren't (they were all adult sizes). I knew something was wrong when I saw the box, it's huge. Anyway, by the time I got them, it was too late to call, but I will be calling first thing in the morning to get it all straightened out. I'll post an update tomorrow.

I made some the other day for Em and by the end of the day Korkers began to fall off. I sewed them on the same way, but the right foot seemed to be loosing korkers. Fragelrock how are you getting them to stay since you use the same brand of FF???

I was having trouble too, but this what I did. I wrapped the straps by the thong part on either side with ribbon and glued it in place with E600. I think put a big blob of E6000 in the middle, let it set for a couple of minutes then put my bow on. I held the bow it place for a couple of minutes and then clamped it down with a Sally's clip for 24 hours. If I saw any "gaps" after the 24 hours I filled it in with hot glue. The are very sturdy now, my daughter has tried to pull the bows off, but they're staying put. HTH!

Okay, I just got off the phone with them, they were very apolegetic for the mix-up. At first they wanted to wait to send our shipment out until they got the other flops back, but I told them that wasn't going to happen since it was there fault. So they are sending ours out within 24 hours. I tried to get them to send it UPS 3 day, but I'm not holding my breath for that one. I'll probably get the flops early next week.
