What is a Hang Tag?

OK...I'm trying to figure out this web site stuff and I THINK I'm getting some of it! But...what in the world is a "Hang Tag?"

okay, I'm confused...a hang tag usually is a display tag that hangs from a garment and has the price or whatever on it, has a little string.

Yeah, a hang tag is a tag that hangs from your merchandise, like if you are selling in a show or something.

Web designers can create the design for you, and then you can take that design to a printer (Vista Print is cheap) and pay to get them printed out. That way your website and your promotional materials (business cards, hang tags, etc.) match.

I do my own and just print them on cardstock.

Most people just do a business card size - vertical instead of horizontal - but I made mine a smidge wider than that. They're something like 2 x 3" and are vertical with a logo and a space at the top for me to punch a hole and string ribbon through.

Gotcha! Thank you. I just ordered my first set of vertical busines cards for clippies and postcards for bows from Vista Print. I guess the next batch can match the website (if it's up by then!).
