Smile It's the PRESENTATION that counts!

Morning Ladies,

When I purchase a product online I want to feel as though the sender has taken some thought into how he/she is presenting the item to me (the buyer). Come on, don't we all get a little excited when our package arrives? It feels like Christmas all over again!

How do you package your accessories? Do you add thank you cards?

Also, how do you attach your bow or clip to the card stock/bow card?

Thanks for the input!!!

First of all welcome to the boards! You will love it here secondly it really depends on the orders, for small orders I try to wrap in tissue, and tie with raffia, then add a thank you/care card with it, for wholesale orders I wrap in tissue

Thanks for the welcome and swift response!

This forum is very beneficial to many women who take great pride in their craft, as myself.

I've been making clips/bows for my little one and people always ask where can they purchase them. I even started wearing clips myself (at work in the nicu) and all the parents want to purchase them for their kids!

Packaging is important to me personally. I think I will purchase a few bows from others to get an idea of how different ladies operate their packaging.

If it's a small purchase, I make these little scallop circles with Thanks you stamped to them, I punch a hole at the top, thread it with ribbon, and stick that on top of the item. it looks cuter in person!

It depends on what I'm sending. I have matching address labels, bow cards and business cards. If it's a bow, I usually attach it to a bow card, stick it in a small bag (I get mine at Hobby Lobby) and wrap the whole thing in colored tissue. I fold my tissue to look like an envelope and use a seal to close the flap. I bought some Martha Stewart seals that say "Thank You" from Michaels. Then I tuck a business card under the loose part of the tissue paper flap. If it's something big like a beanie or hat I'll put it in a large ziploc bag first, put my label on the top front of the bag and stick a "thank you" seal on the front center. Hope this helps!

for bows, clips, paci clips I clip them to a bow card, put in a business card with a handwritten and signed "Thank you!" on the back and put it in a polka dot cello bag I got from NashvilleWraps and either tie it with matching rafia (purple or green) or put a label that has my logo and Etsy site address on it to seal

Wrapping depends on item. But I always include a handwritten thank you note with customer purchases and business cards. I purchase lots of handmade goods for my shop and I agree packaging is big. It's the personal touches that I like. One of my sellers always puts in free baby wash mitts with each purchase which is super nice!!

welcome!

i had custom ribbon made with my colors/logo/company name.
each one of my clips goes in a little clear bag with my label on it.

so i attach the bags of clips with my ribbon (there's a hole on the top of each bag) as well as my company's stationary and write a thank you note on there. it goes into a bubble mailer. or if it needs a small box, it all gets wrapped in PINK bubble wrap, then tied with more of my ribbon. it looks super cute in person.
