I agree ~ Monkey See, Monkey Sue is cute, but it would be counterproductive since you already have a customer base under the other name. Maybe a new super catchy tagline and logo would help you like it more.

I am going through the same thing right now. Me and my sister are thinking of opening up a store soon if all goes well with the CPSIA. I thought our name is to long and seems to be apealing for only babies and toddlers.I want to also be apealing to older girls and teens who wear tuxedo bows. I felt the name has been keeping the older girls parents away.
My name is Ladybugs &Wiggleworms but I was thinking of changing to The Pokey Alligator and changing everything to an alligator that is pink and green polka dotted. I named it Originally after my son was born, my daughter has always had ladybug stuff and he was so wiggley and squirmy when he was born. However Jenna has been called Pokey since she has been walking (she is the pokiest child you will ever meet she does everything super slow) and my son looks so cute in alligator stuff and green so it is kind of his theme at 1 year old. I also thought it was more apealing to all ages and somewhat preppy. We have people who specifically order from us and go to craft shows for us, but they usually find us by the bug bow display and the fact that we are the only twins in the area that make bows together. So it is easy to find the bow display with the two girls that look alike. However we have given out over 800 business cards lately with the first name on it. I however think that if people recognize you by that name then maybe you should keep it. Maybe get a cute logo with a rainbow wearing a bow or something like that and get a cute little logo. Like rainBows of color or rainBows for all seasons Or RainBows and SunSmiles or Rainbows and SunSmiles all year long (sorry to early to think). If people recognize you by seeing bows and you then recognize then change it. I like the idea of monkeys. A cute monkey eating a banana wearing a pink bow an tutu. Monkey See, Monkey Sue. Go Bananas for Bows for your lil monkey |

I think the Monkey one is really cute, but if someone was looking for hair bows and didn't see your slogan, I'm not sure if they would "get it". I think it sounds really adorable, but also as others said, your customers already know you as one name, so you should probably stick with that. Sorry I'm not more help!
