I am sorry, I never thought you were going to stop giving I was just saying that it is totally doable (and for me, neccessary) to do both.

I have been doing this for a while now and have put in alot of time and effort as well as funds. So I guess it would be nice to have an incentive for the good that I do. I have it pretty much worked out now with websites, etsy and ebay. At least when I spend my own money now ( and a little of fiance's, lol) I will get some back from my product as well as seeing children smile! Thanks everyone for all of the replies!!! Can't wait to get started after my week of a break..........I was trying to do woven headbands last night,. lol.

You can also do a myspace and facebook for your bows. Update pics of new things often and you may get some sales that way. I think simply by saying something about the proceeds going towards cancer patients will pull on heart strings and people will buy your bows simply because it's a donation of sorts to the kiddos! I know I would! You could also post a few pics of you giving the bows to the kids etc... and go from there... Who knows maybe eventually you can make enough money to totally fund the ribbons for the kids and even add more items for boys like baseball hats.
If you have enough ribbon, I'd make an extra bow and keep it... you can also just take a pic of everything and put it on your site so your potential customers can see what you can do.
I can't wait to see your website!!

I would love to be able to make things for the boys but haven't made it that far yet. We did take the camera to take pics once and some parents got offended. They did not want them taken but offered me pics of their children when they were healthy. I will take the camera with me in December to try again!
Thanks so much for everyones help on the website situation.
