From the other people I checked for a custom one kind design she was very affordable and I made her change things over and over again and she was so pleasant about it. I paid 200 for the website and 15 for the first add on and 10 for each additional. She makes your logo and makes up 3 things the first time and you tell her what you dislike and like about each then she makes another 3 and so on. She is quick to respond to any questions also. You can go to her website www.buzzingbeedesigns.com and check out all her work.

Oh, another expense I forgot to mention. Before your website goes public, you need to have SSL setup. SSL will encrypt buyers info (password, credit cards). I will never purchase anything from a website without SSL. But a lot of buyer may not even know it. So it's up to you.

The cost is about $75/year. You just pay hostmonster and they'll take care everything.

How to tell if a website has SSL. When you check out, check the website address. If it's https://... then your information will be encrypted. If you see http://... then please do not submit your crredit card number.

just curious michelle, if you accept only paypal payments, which now the buyers don't have to be a paypal member. doesn't this protect the buyer w/o the added extra added expense.

Yes, that'll protect buyer. All the PayPal transaction data has been encrypted by PayPal.

Mindy,

I noticed that you use bows instead of hairbows or hair bows. For example, large bows, infant bows... I think a lot of people search internet by hairbows (please see poll thread below).

The title and description on you website is the most important things to drive potential buyers to your website free. You can sell on eBay or pay for advertise on google to get traffic too but you have to pay them.

Try to put hair bows, hairbows and bows in all of your product description. For example, the title says infant bows. Then the description says "this cute hairbow is the perfect hair bow for babies"-- something like that.
