I just created a website to and I don't have a lot of pics to put on there. Is it ok to use other ppls bow pics if i put some kind of disclaimer on there. Something like...I did not make all of these bows these are some samples of the bows that I can make. Each bow is made new for you...

What do you think? I don't want to take credit for anyone's hard work.

I think that is a big no-no in the bow making world. You would have to get permission from the photo owner first. Generally if someone wants to buy something from you, that want to see what YOU have made.

I agree with funybuny. Plus if I were buying I would want to see how yours turned out not how someones elses looks.

Yeah, it's a total no-no. If you do it to one of the hip girls, the whole group will chew your head off and render you unrecognizable. Trust me, I seen it done to other people.

I think for you to ask that is a big problem! If you make things- you should know how to take a picture. It is one thing to ask the owner for permission- but it is another to think in some crazy way that you might just use the pics. I am dying to see your website. Let me google it.........well nothing in google but I did find the link in your siggy:

Here it is:

Cute pics of your girls I would assume. Those bows are cute on them. You should take your own pics.

I think it is unethical and wrong. Also I see no valid reason a person can't take and use there own pictures. JMHO

You would deceive your customers, and leave yourself open to negative feed back!
