Great ideas! I'm jealous of the awesome collection LOL. I told my hubby yesterday I needed to order more ribbon and I thought he was going to pass out! I'm talking basics too! I don't have the fancy stuff like marabou, double ruffle (ok... one color), I just have plain colors, some polkas, and a few prints I picked up here and there. I have the steralite bins with wheels. One has my ribbons in nice rolls in drawers, the other is my "scrap drawer" where all the scraps go.

DH surprised me and made this for me on Sunday... He even stained it! He was probably getting tired of all the ribbons all over the place!

I have heard of some woman having their husbands put rain gutters on the wall or between wood to hold the rolls.

When I originally posted back when this older post started, I didn't have much of anything, but thought I'd post mine quick that I am using now. I still have my bigger spools in my cubby system, but I'm loving these. I bought them for LTD and let me tell you they are a POS to be used as a pantry cabinet thing like intended, so I just screwed them into the wall and they work perfectly. No rods to have to mess with and I can fit up to a 25 yd roll in there. I've added one more up there since I took the pic

You know what i do to hold my spools of ribbon, its similar to the one in this link. I get a cd one that is either scratched or i dont need anymore and a piece of card board and a unsharpened pencil. I glue the cardbard to one side of the cd and then on the other side of the cd i glue the pencil standing straight up. I hope this makes sense. I make like 4 of them and you just have to make sure you glue the pencil on straight cause some of mine are lopsided. But they work great and I just used stuff around the house.
