keep your ribbon on the spool?? What do you use to hold it? My dh said use straight pins but I'm afraid of leaving holes. What about tape?? Any suggestions?? Thanks!

I use straight pins and yes it does leave holes
I have tried tape but most of the time im working pretty quickly and the tape takes to long

I would love to hear what others use

I use rubber bands. I buy the really big pack of the cheap ones and some of them are really big for the bigger rolls.

For me, tape leaves the ribbon sticky. I use the straight pins. It doesn't leave holes to bad and if it does I just cut that small piece out.

I use little tiny stright pins so that the holes aren't big enough to see

Yep, me too! Plus, in woven ribbon most of the time the holes close back up, especially if you lightly rub back and forth over it with your finger.
