We sold our house while we were houseparents (and did not need a house - we lived with the boys) and since we had planned to be there a long time, we used the money to pay off cars, credit cards, etc....... Then I got sick and so did my daughter - we had to leave the ranch and so we are stuck in this TINY apartment while we are looking for a house.....
I have a large craft/sewing box that my ex-MIL bought me YEARS ago, that I cannot find more of. It is the size of a medium Rubbermaid tote, but has handles and a lid with rulers built in. That normally has the stuff that I am working on now, so that it can be mobile. I have a large 3-drawer rolling cart full of ribbon. I have a small sewing box full of needles, thread, scissors, etc. And I keep my glue gun on my laptop table which is where I assemble the bows or I use a lapdesk which has a ruler glued to it...... I will outgrow this system soon (like the next time I buy ribbon!)
EDITED to add - my completed bows end up in my daughter's hair or on one of her bow holders as soon as I sit them down anywhere......My niece came over yesterday and claimed all that I made yesterday, so I do not have the problem of finding storage for them!!!!!! I plan to use underbed boxes to get ready for the sale in August.
