Hi Michelle,
I NEVER would of thought of that. What a great idea. I am so happy that I stumbled upon this group. I have been a little out of the bow making for awhile, with summer here and the kids out of school. I have 4 kids, so they can keep me busy. I was so tired of the groups with all the drama. I am here to learn as much as I can and share what I have learned (if it will help someone. haha). Your knowledge is AWESOME and I will say it again "you are sooooo creative". Thank you sooo much for this group!
Shari

I wish my DH would build me a bow barn! Right now I'm still working on getting a potting shed.

I agree Organization is the key. For me I need to see my ribbon in baggies to make me feel good :O). It's a weird OCD.
THanks,
Gen

Smile a great tip

Hi girls: I needed something to store all the ribbon I buy without the cardboard container, so what I do is save all the middle tube or cardboard of toilet paper and paper napking rolls. You throw it away anyway, why not use it for something. so i keep 1 paper napkinf tube with all my pinkish ribbons, another one with the shear, and so one. DO you guys understand what I mean? I think I explaines it ok?
anyway if you ahve questions let me know. thanks Roni

LOL, yea I used to shove all of my ribbon under the dining room table and then my husband got a little mad. Then I moved it to the kitchen counter and that didn't go over to well either. So then it took over my sewing area.

Default ribbon storage

i have a ton of ribbon that i need easy access to but it was overtaking my front room. I went to wal mart and bought the 2 large plastic sterlite w/ 3 drawers. Each drawer is labeled with specific colors. So each draw has the oranges, greens, etc... Then inside, i have large ziploc bags with each color in each bag and labeled also. that way i can easily find the color group and then find the specific color very quickly.~~mindy
